The Cuvilly annual fund solicitation is now underway. The resulting donations support programs at the school, expand family programming, maintain the campus, continue the growth of our summer Simply Keep it Local (SKIL) program for older children and encourage active outdoor pursuits through environmental education and the arts.

Cuvilly Arts & Earth Center is at an exciting crossroads.

For 25 years, our renowned pre-school and kindergarten has been the anchor of our mission and message. For ecological sustainability to become a reality, we must increase our efforts to engage with children of all ages and expand our outreach to the community-at-large. We are currently making plans to:

  • enhance and expand our Simply Keep it Local (SKIL) summer program for older children, including an after-school component;
  • introduce the larger community to the beauty of Cuvilly's creation by developing a self-guided trail through our 15-acres of wood, field, marsh and pasture;
  • research alternative energy resources beyond our existing wind turbine and photovoltaic site in order to continue meeting Cuvilly's energy needs.

The time is now.

There are many ways you may help:

  • Earmark your financial support for older children programming
  • Contribute funds for the maintenance of our farm and school facilities
  • Donate funds for the care and feeding of our farm animals during our Critters' Trek.
  • Designate your donation for the development and maintenance of a nature trail
  • Support the final construction of our newly acquired 17th-century timber frame home and energy efficient "House of the Future"

The main sources of income for Cuvilly Arts & Earth Center are school tuition, the annual fund solicitation and fundraising activities such as the annual bike-a-thon and auction. This year, Cuvilly celebrated its 25th anniversary with a special fundraising gala in October, attracting the support of more than 200 friends and donors, culminating in an additional $11,000 for the Center.
