Eco-Artisans

Did you know?

  • In the USA, as trend-driven fashion purchases increase, so too, does the amount of clothing and footwear that end up in landfill, now calculated to be at a rate of 1 garbage truck per second. (Materials Circular Economy, 2021)

  • The average USA consumer throws away 82 pounds of clothing every year. 85% goes into landfills. (EPA Data 2023 & EARTH.org)

  • There are 15 million tons of plastic-derived textile waste are dumped every year in the USA. These textiles take over 200 years to decompose. (EPA Data 2023)

The Cuvilly Eco-Artisans seek to address the problems of textile waste and fiber pollution by working together, using their creative skills, to repurpose fabrics and other fiber-polluting materials.

The Eco-Artisans invite all to join this effort by Reusing, Repurposing, and Recycling fabric of all kinds.
